Already in just the first quarter of 2023, we have over 400 anti-trans bills attacking our humanity, and seeking to diminish our power. As lawmakers attempt to hurt us for political gain, TJFP will remain in solidarity with our community and continue to support the fight towards trans liberation. We have a right to exist. We are born into that right. And we will continue to pave pathways towards truth and justice with and for our trans kin.

For a very quick breakdown, right now there are 24 anti-trans bills that have been passed into law in 14 states. Every day now, the impacts of these anti-trans efforts are directly worsening trans people’s lived realities.
